Idaho Steelheads vs. New Mexico Goatheads

Idaho Steelheads vs. New Mexico Goatheads at Idaho Central Arena

Give the crease your attention while the puck is farther out. A player drifting into the goalie's line of sight can change the value of a shot without touching it. Look for the moment the goalie tries to find a view around the traffic. It adds another layer to a chance from the point. A shot can look straightforward from your seat and be a completely different problem for the person trying to stop it. Idaho Steelheads host New Mexico Goatheads at Idaho Central Arena in Boise on January 2. It is a Boise hockey outing.

What makes it fun is how much there is to notice live. You can watch the screen in front of the goalie, track the rebounds, and see how quickly the puck changes direction when bodies crowd the crease.

That makes the game easy to enjoy whether you are there for a home-game outing or sharing a live experience with friends. The pace keeps your attention moving from the boards to the net and back again, so even quiet stretches still give you something to watch.

If you want an easy Boise night out, this one fits.
