A Crazy Little Cafe Called Love

A Crazy Little Cafe Called Love at Boise Little Theater

One café, one day, and a whole lot of crossed wires set the scene for A Crazy Little Cafe Called Love. At Boise Little Theater in Boise, Idaho, this production turns a simple blind date into a fast-moving tangle as Linda waits, Bob tries to cast a movie, a waitress falls for a monk, and wedding relatives collide in the same place at once.

Luigi Jannuzzi’s play, directed by Jonathan Perry, leans into ensemble timing and the kind of quick turns that make every entrance matter. The single-set story keeps the focus tight on the Love Cafe, where private plans keep bumping into each other and small misunderstandings can change the whole afternoon.

That makes it a great one to see with friends or family, because the fun comes from watching how each thread connects. You are not just following one plot, you are catching the full rush of a shared theatre moment as the characters’ intentions keep crossing in ways that feel lively and unpredictable.

If you want a night out that feels playful, immediate, and built for live stage energy, this is an easy choice. Step into the café and see how one day can hold so many moving parts.
