A Beautiful Noise - The Neil Diamond Musical

A Beautiful Noise - The Neil Diamond Musical at Morrison Center For The Performing Arts

A Neil Diamond song can take you straight back to a wedding, a road trip or a Sunday morning when your parents had the record player going. A Beautiful Noise brings those familiar songs inside the story of the person who wrote them, coming to Morrison Center for the Performing Arts on May 23, 2027, at 6:30 PM. Created in collaboration with Neil Diamond himself, the musical follows a kid from Brooklyn on his path to rock stardom.

If you've been singing along for years, the show gives you a new reason to pay attention to the words. You get to hear songs you know in the context of a life unfolding onstage, where the next number can make you think differently about the person singing it. The score features "Sweet Caroline," "America" and "Forever in Blue Jeans." Diamond received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and was inducted into the Songwriters and Rock and Roll Halls of Fame, and the musical reveals how those honors were earned.

You can come with someone who knows every chorus or someone who mainly knows the music through you. The songs give longtime fans something to look forward to, and the story gives newcomers a way into the music. Theatre veterans and first-timers alike find something special here, the music connects generations as familiar melodies get the full theatrical treatment. You may leave wanting to play each other the tracks you remember best.
