Connor Wood

Connor Wood at Knitting Factory Concert House - Boise

A voice can feel familiar enough through headphones that you forget you've never actually seen the person work a room. Connor Wood brings his stand-up to Knitting Factory in Boise. If you know him from Brooke and Connor Make A Podcast, this is a chance to see what happens when you give his delivery your full attention and hear how a crowd responds in the moment.

The pleasure of a stand-up set is having time to follow a thought past the first thing that makes you laugh. A comic can start somewhere that feels like a casual conversation, then make you realize a small detail was doing more work than you thought. Give yourself a chance to notice where Wood changes pace or lets the room sit with a line. Those choices can be as much of a reason to see the show as recognizing the person holding the mic.

If a friend got you into the podcast, invite them. Or take somebody who has no idea what the two of you have been quoting. You can come in with different expectations and still have a night built around the same set. Knitting Factory gives you a place to trade your usual routine for a show you can talk about on the way home.
