Electric Avenue

Electric Avenue at Egyptian Theatre - Boise

Electric Avenue brings The 80s MTV Experience to the Egyptian Theatre on November 13, 2026, at 8:00 PM. This is a tribute to the era when MTV actually played music videos and every song seemed to tell a story. If you remember staying up late waiting for your favorite video to come on, or debating Madonna versus Cyndi Lauper with your best friend, this is your chance to relive that decade through the songs that defined it.

Bring the friend who gets why this matters. The one who remembers the fashion choices, the one-hit wonders, and the way certain songs could soundtrack a first dance or a first heartbreak. You'll both be singing along to the anthems that played during every unforgettable moment of that era. The Egyptian Theatre's vintage charm makes it the perfect backdrop for this trip down memory lane.

This isn't a booking of the original acts—it's a tribute to MTV's golden age of pop. Electric Avenue focuses on sharing memories of that era and experiencing the music as a concert outing. Whether you were team New Wave or team power ballad, the show delivers the full MTV experience without promising specific songs, videos, costumes or original artists. You may leave wanting to play each other the tracks you remember best. Make it a night out with someone who has an 80s MTV memory of their own. Check ticket options for the November 13 performance.
