Olivia O'Brien at Knitting Factory Concert House - Boise

If a friend sent you PIXIE the day they found it, take them along when Olivia O'Brien brings the PIXIE Tour to Knitting Factory in Boise. Songs such as Dream Girl and Written by a Man give you a place to start with the album before the concert. You can talk about what hooked each of you and hear how O'Brien puts her personality across in person.

There is also room to come curious. Start with one track, get to know how she writes, then see what draws you in when you are in the room. The tour gives fans following PIXIE a reason to make a night of listening together.

Pick a lyric on PIXIE that changes the mood of a song for you. In the car, you can run that line back until you know exactly how O'Brien sings it. At the concert, give yourself a different job. Watch how she carries the room while you're listening to the words. A small shift in delivery can make you notice the songwriter behind a track you know by heart. The album is also a way to invite someone who doesn't know her music yet. Play them the track you keep returning to, then let them choose their own way into it.
