Red NOT Chili Peppers - A Tribute to Red Hot Chili Peppers

Red NOT Chili Peppers - A Tribute to Red Hot Chili Peppers at Knitting Factory Concert House - Boise

Red NOT Chili Peppers take the Red Hot Chili Peppers catalog as the starting point for a live tribute at Knitting Factory in Boise. If you have a friend who can recognize a bass part before the vocal comes in, bring them and see what each of you picks out when another band plays the music.

Part of the fun of a tribute is hearing what you already know through someone else's playing. Listen for the moments when a rhythm or melody brings a record back to mind. Lips Speak Louder are also on the bill, giving you a reason to arrive in time for both acts.

A tribute show is also a chance to notice the parts you usually take for granted. Follow the rhythm while someone else in your group waits for the voice. When you compare what you heard afterward, you might find that a familiar song had a detail you had missed for years. That is a reason to make it a group outing even if you and your friends learned the catalog in different decades. The evening gives the longtime listener something to recognize and the newer one a chance to find out what kept everybody else coming back.
