Beauty and The Beast at Morrison Center For The Performing Arts
A single rose can change the way you see a story. Beauty and The Beast brings Disney’s stage musical to Morrison Center in Boise, Idaho on December 5, where the tale unfolds with new sets and costumes created for this tour, turning a familiar favorite into something immediate and fresh.
What shifts most in person is the scale of the theatrical craft. The music carries the emotion from scene to scene, and moments like Be Our Guest and Beauty and the Beast land with the kind of detail that only a live production can reveal. For fans who know the story well, this is a chance to notice how the score and stage design shape each transformation.
There is also a special pull in knowing this production reunited members of the original artistic team, including Alan Menken, Tim Rice, and Linda Woolverton. That creative connection gives the show a sense of continuity while still letting this tour stand on its own. The result is a night that feels both recognizable and newly staged.
If you want a theatrical outing that gives a classic story a fresh frame, this is one to see from your seat.
