Beauty and The Beast

Beauty and The Beast at Morrison Center For The Performing Arts

Some stories land differently depending on who you bring along, and Beauty and The Beast makes that part of the fun. At Morrison Center in Boise, Idaho on December 6, this Disney stage musical invites you to share a familiar tale with someone who may know it from a different angle, whether they love the story, the music, or simply a night in the theater.

This tour comes with new sets and costumes, giving the production a fresh look while keeping the heart of the classic intact. Fans can pay attention to how the score and stage design shape the experience, especially in numbers like Be Our Guest and Beauty and the Beast. It is the kind of evening that lets one person lean into nostalgia while another discovers what makes the material endure.

There is also something special about watching a well-loved story as a shared outing. The reunion of members of the original artistic team, including Alan Menken, Tim Rice and Linda Woolverton, adds another layer for anyone who wants to notice how the creative DNA of the show still lives on. That makes it easy to bring a friend, partner, or family member with a different connection to the story and still find common ground.

If you want a night that gives you both a reason to talk after the curtain falls, this is a strong pick.
