Boise State University Department of Music: Symphony Orchestra and Choirs at Morrison Center For The Performing Arts
A choir changes what your ear goes looking for in a concert hall. Hear Boise State's Symphony Orchestra and Choirs at the Morrison Center in Boise, where a Concerto-Aria Competition winner will also perform with the university orchestra. The draw is immediate. Choral voices paired with university orchestra create a setting that feels both expansive and precise, with Boise audiences hearing these forces in one of the city’s best-known halls.
Another reason to attend is the documented Concerto-Aria Competition winner performing with the University Symphony Orchestra. That detail gives the night a special edge, since the program includes a featured artist whose achievement is part of the official event story. It is a chance to experience the university ensemble in a concert shaped by that distinction.
The date also matters for anyone planning ahead in Boise. April 16, 2027 places this performance in a prime spring spot on the calendar, and the Morrison Center setting gives the concert a strong home base for listeners who appreciate serious music in a major venue. If you follow orchestral and choral concerts, this is a clear pick for the season.
Make time to hear the competition winner with the orchestra. Following an individual performer gives you another way into an evening that also asks you to listen to an entire group.
