Houndmouth

Houndmouth at Treefort Music Hall

How much grit can you put into a melody and still have it stick? Houndmouth has spent years working out that balance. The band brings its blend of rock and American roots music to Treefort Music Hall in Boise on November 10, 2026, with Dogpark on the bill.

If Sedona is the song that got you into Houndmouth, there is another side of Matt Myers’s writing worth getting to know. His reunion with producer Brad Cook led to Lordy, a record built around more stripped-back arrangements. The songs give you different ways into the band before the show. One can catch you with a melody you remember years later. The other gives you room to notice how much a voice and a few chords can carry.

Get there in time for Dogpark if part of the fun for you is finding a band you did not come in knowing. They got their start playing house parties around the University of Richmond. You get to hear how a group with that background fills a room, then hear what Houndmouth does with the same stage.

Take the friend who always asks who is opening. Check tickets for Houndmouth and Dogpark.
