Railroad Earth

Railroad Earth at Treefort Music Hall

Give Railroad Earth a familiar starting point and there is still room to wonder where the music might go. That is part of the draw when the band comes to Treefort Music Hall in Boise on November 12, 2026. If you like bluegrass with room for detours, go in ready to follow the players as closely as the song.

The Black Bear Sessions introduced the group’s sound in 2001. A different window into its range came when John Denver’s estate invited the band to set his lyrics to music for the John Denver Letters EP. Giving someone else’s words a musical home takes a different kind of listening. If you like following how a tune can change the weight of a lyric, that project gives you a place to start before the concert.

Jeremy Garrett of the Infamous Stringdusters is also on the bill. That gives you another reason to make time for the whole show. Listen for what draws you in with each act. You might come for the picking and find yourself following the way a song builds instead.
