The Lemonheads

The Lemonheads at Treefort Music Hall

The Lemonheads have a new record to get to know before their Boise stop. Love Chant came out in 2025, the band's first studio album in nearly two decades, and was recorded mainly in São Paulo. If Evan Dando's songwriting is what first got you listening, the record gives you another way into the Love Chant Tour.

Boise band Mylo Bybee opens. Come early for a chance to hear a local band on the same bill and see how each act draws you in. Take someone who has a Lemonheads song they still come back to and swap what you have been listening to before the show.

The Boise show is at Treefort Music Hall.

There is a particular pleasure in coming back to a songwriter after some time away. Put on the new record without looking for a song that sounds like the one you used to play most. See what you notice about the way Dando sets up a line now. At the show, you can follow the performer rather than chase a recording you already know. And if somebody in your group is coming for Mylo Bybee, let them make the case for the local band before you go. That gives both halves of the bill a personal reason to be there.
