The Piano Guys

The Piano Guys at Morrison Center For The Performing Arts

If a Piano Guys video made you send the link to someone, bring that person along. The Piano Guys come to Boise’s Morrison Center for the Performing Arts on February 2, 2027, at 7:00 PM. In the room, you can choose to follow the piano for a stretch, then listen for what the cello adds when your attention shifts.

The project began in a Southern Utah piano shop. It brings together pianist and songwriter Jon Schmidt, cellist and songwriter Steven Sharp Nelson, producer and videographer Paul Anderson, and producer and songwriter Al van der Beek. The videos helped listeners discover what the project could do with those instruments. At the concert, you can pay attention to how an arrangement is put together and what happens when one instrument takes the lead.

That makes this a good outing to share with someone whose listening habits differ from yours. A friend might recognize the tune first while you notice the rhythm or the way the parts fit together. After the performance, compare which details caught your attention. If you’ve been looking for a concert where you can both bring something different to the experience, find ticket options for The Piano Guys in Boise.
